A tribute to Frank Gorshin

The Riddler was easily my favorite Bat-villian from the classic Adam West TV show. In part, this was due to the Riddler's schtick; however, it was also because of Frank Gorshin's manic, irrepressible portrayal. The Riddler was vastly more fun that the Joker, the Penguin or any of these other kooks.

Other guys wanted to see Catwoman (I wonder why?), but I always wanted to see Frank instead. Thankfully, his career didn't just fizzle out after the Bat-years were over. He continued to make appearances in a variety of shows, such as The New Adventures of Wonder Woman and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. The first couple of screen caps here were from those shows.

Frank Gorshin died shortly after Back to the Batcave was filmed, in which he was reunited with Adam West, Burt Ward, Lee Meriwether and other cast members. It was good to see him one more time.
