I feel that science is much neglected in this age. At times I feel like there's an atmosphere of anti-intellectualism here, and that people lack this passionate zeal that causes others to pursue knowledge. Not just scientific knowledge, I'll admit -- however, the level of scientific illiteracy that I see is astounding.
