Kathy Ireland on Charles in Charge

Earlier, I commentedon an appearance that Michelle Nicastro made in a first-season episode of Charles in Charge. Guess who else made a brief apperance on that episode? Kathy Ireland! |

Boy, talk about pretty. I don't tend to drool over these swimsuit model types; in fact, I don't generally find them appealing. When I do, it's typically because of their face or a certain level of charm. I like Stacey Williams, for example, due to her soulful dark eyes and her finely crafted face. I'm not a big Kathy Ireland fan, but I really liked the way she looked in this episode. She has a certain sweetness about her that just shines right through. That's one thing that she's always had over other supermodels. It was her perceived sweetness that set her apart, moreso than her physical charms. |
Her role in this episode was brief and not at all important to the plot.
Basically, she spent a few moments at a payphone, as part of a brief comedic
moment. This was well before she hit the Sports Illustrated big time, so
I don't think this was intended as a cameo appearance by a famous model.
If anything, I'm sure that she was cast due to her exceptional good looks. |
