Michelle Nicastro on Charles in Charge

Michelle appeared in one episode of Charles in Charge, back in its first season. She played a one-time romantic interest for the lead, Scott Baio's character. This was one of those typical lightweight sitcoms, but I kinda enjoyed it as a teenager.

Yeah, it was lightweight fare, but I rather enjoyed it—at least, during its first season. Perhaps I'm looking at it through the distorted lens of time, but I thought that it did a decent job of tackling some family issues, especially with regard to growing up. There were a few times when I thought it was pretty darned funny, too. Not insultingly cute like Full House.

As usual, Michelle did a good job in this episode. She was clearly cast in part due to her looks... not that I'm complaining. The episode was reasonably amusing, and I liked watching the interactions between the family kids. I think that's what I liked most about the first season.

By the way, guess who else was in this episode? That would be future supermodel Kathy Ireland before she became mega-famous.
